Default 2001 V70 Crankshaft marks

Howdy,

I have been trying to change my timing belt for the last 3-4 weekends. I followed the volvo instruction, did the 90 degree CW and back, but when I was removing the pulley, it moved. so I used #1 TDC to postion the crankshaft. I finished up, put everything together and it ran well, till I start getting P0014 codes every couple days. so every weekend, I check and recheck everything. I starting to think the crankshaft postion is off. I took a photo of where I have it set. But looking the other people pictures I am starting to think it should line up with the first upright thing on the oil pump.

Anyone have any ideas.

Thank you in advance.

Robert

You need to go back 1.5 teeth.

Don't mean to bring this thread back, but it has the good pic of the timing marks on the crank. When did they change it from the scribed line in between two teeth, to the teeth being notched?
