v70 auto gearbox with no drive after changing crankshaft oil seal
Hi guys,
Quite new to the forum and was recomended by another volvo enthusiast who says this site is great with good informative info - well here's hoping. I recently have had the crankshaft oil seal changed in a 2005 v70 2.4 d5 automatic and no have no drive from the automatic gearbox. In the process of doing this the auto box, torque convertor and fly wheel were removed and refitted afterwards. Now ive no drive from the box at all but can select every gear no problem except the car wont drive. The auto transmission fluid was also changed and genuine volvo fluid was used.
Any help with this would be a big help guys as the car is lying with its throat cut at the moment..
I dont know if this has any relevance or not but the day i ran the car to have this job done at a friends garage the battery light had came on when i was taking the car to have it repaired, just wondering if this could make any difference to the answers i may get with the help im needing here guys
