Default 2003 v70 T5 potential draw on battery

[ accidently posted this in S70 ]

SAGA: Original battery died. Called AAA. AAA said it would not take a charge and replaced it with a new one. The new battery died two weeks later. Called AAA again. AAA said I now have a drain on the battery. Brought the car to my mechanic. My mechanic said the new battery wouldn't take a charge and I needed a new one (hmm, sound familiar??). AAA, under warranty, replaced the battery. Playing the waiting game to see if battery dies.

Last night, I noticed the ignition ring light (green) would not turn off (car left unattended for hours). It would turn off if I locked the car. Could this be a source of the drain? What other electronics are on this circuit?

To add to my problems, the SRS-AIRBAG warning is now on. Mechanic charged $75 to tell me its a faulty warning but he could not reset it...that I had to go to the dearler to reset the thing at $150...is that my only option?

trick or treat...feels like I've been tricked!

thanks for your help. jd

UPDATE:

I was told the drain on the battery was from the passenger window module. I month earlier, the passenger window regulator was replaced. Could the module have been damaged at that time or is this coincidence?

I was also told the SRS warning is a faulty light and I need the dashboard module replaced!!

been a bad day
