98' v70 w/ 01' t5 v70 swap
I have a 98' v70 that now has a freshly rebult 2001 v70 t5 engine. I have basically everything done besides some vacuum stuff which I need help with. First Volvo to tinker with

1) Where does this normally run to?
2) I am assuming this may run to the vacuum tree?
3) I think this runs to the oil catch canister thing
4) unrelated to the vacuum lines, but from I can tell from images(and not having volvo experiecne) in the 98' this port isn't there, and the turbo water line runs from the Y coolant pipe to the turbo? Assuming that in the 2001, that pipe was different and the feed is off the side of the head?

In this picture...
1) off the TCV, '1' goes to the comp housing?
2) 'fresh air' line goes to the turbo inlet tube?
3) goes to the wastegate?
4) coming from the vacuum stuff in the front end(from pictures it seems like it ran near the fire wall, but my conclusion is I am lost with it lol
5) which I forgot to label, I am guessing this is the smaller vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator vacuum tree?
What is this for?

1) I am thinking this end runs to picture #1's 3?
2) runs to the vacuum nipple on the left hand side of the intake manifold?
3) runs to the oil catch box thing below the intake manifold?

turbo coolant return?

1) please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I am under the assumtion that in the 98' version, this line ran to the turbo? since this has the 01' motor it has the updated oil cooler, which I am guessing should go there? on the side of the head there is a feed line, which again I am assuming is the coolant feed for the turbo in the 01? can anyone verify?
2) is the oil cooler line- in the 01' where does this normally run to? I can't seem to find out where. In the 98' I know the oil cooler runs to the radiator.

I am assuming this is for emissions? Probably went to the emission canister? if not where should it go?
thanks.

What you've done is swapped in an "RN" engine; a very nice but fairly ambitious mod.
I've never done it so I can't answer your questions but this is fairly common mod over on VS (volvospeed.com) forum. You will likely get more feedback over there for something like this. Good luck.

It would have been nice if you would have kept your numbers climbing.
In the 1st picture:
1. I don't know.
2. On the '98 it went to the passenger side of the intake manifold, part of the PCV.
3. On the '98, went to the oil trap, part of the PCV.
4. I don't know.
Pic #2: I don't remember.
Pic #3:
I'm pretty sure that goes to the brake booster.
Pic #4: Looks like the brake booster hose.
1. Maybe booster
2. I don't know.
3. Maybe the copper tube off of the intake manifold in pic #3.
Pic #5: Never seen that before.
Pic #6:
Circled tube end is the coolant return from the turbo.
#2 I don't know.
Pic #7: Purge valve. Maybe the vacuum diagram will tell you where it goes.
