98 v70 wont start why!!!!!! Help
I sarted my v70 and almost immediately it ran out of fuel. I tried once to start it again but it wouldn't. So i went and got fuel and put 6 gallons in. Now it wont even turnver it just goes "click". Its not the battery and its not the starter, i thought it was the starter but i just replaced it and its not! Next to the shifter the "S" E" W", the "W" stays lit now too. is there some kind of safety switch somewhere that i have to reset because i ran out of fuel? My fuel pump is running, i can hear it. What else can it be. Please help N-E-ONE.

First,
Switch your transmission from 'w' to 'e'. The 'W' setting is for snow or ice, and makes the car start in 2nd (or is it 3rd?) gear. This will cause the torque converter to wear much faster as others have experienced here.
I would check the battery connections. You did not say how you know it was not the batter or the starter, but I suspect your problem is in the battery, connections, or the starter. The 'click' suggest one of those 3, rather then an interlock problem.
Try to turn the connections, see if they are loose on the battery. If so, clean and lubricate the connections and try it again.
