Default 98 v70xc first volvo/post/problems

hello ive purchased my first volvo its a 98 v70xc blue with tan leather it has almost 170k and the timing was done at 140k (so he says)
the problems that ive noticed with it
  1. passanger front door i will lock the doors but even if its locked u can still get in from that door.
  2. the rear passanger door the lock will not move even if i hit the button to unlock it i have to manually pull it up.
  3. the rear hatch looks like some one slammed it while it was locked thus busting the whole latch mechanisim. the dash always says its open but in all reality its not. i cant open it from the inside or outside.
any 1 have any information/ threads/write ups that would be alot of help thx!

1. Take the panel off to see if the link between the actuator and the lock is detached/damaged. I'm guessing when you lock it, the lock **** goes down so it looks locked, but it really isn't. Also test the lock/unlock actuator on the door.
2. Take the panel off this one, too. Investigate link & actuator. This one could be a bad wire to the actuator, so check that you're getting 12v to it.
3. Take off the interior panel to see what's jammed. My hatch is dented from impact, too, but works with the panel removed.

I hope this helps.

Not that I know of off hand. But they are pretty easy to replace.
