Hellllooooo all again. ok you have the abs on the v70. the light that is on the dash. then you have the blinkin service light. now I have an orange arrow next to these. its new to me. any ideas tech or anyone else. cheers all. John. Its an orange light in the shape of an arrow facing upwards.damn thing lol.

 

That means there is transmission codes from the Arrow on the dash.
I will bet the ABS module is toast.

 

Thankyou very much tech, is it ok to drive till i sort it. got no chance till next week to get at it. what with work and that.so if i sort the abs mod, it should be ok then, I know what to do about the service light.thanks again tech. John.

 

As long as it is starting in 1st gear and not 3rd gear you should be fine.

Yes I know when the tranny goes into limp home mode it starts off in 3rd gear.
But if it starts off normal then it is fine.
