Default ABS module fuse?

is there an ABS module fuse that I can take out? my ABS module is bad but I'm annnoyed by the ABS light constantly coming on and a "shutter" in my brakes every so often. I want to unplug it until I can afford to fix it. I was told by my indie mechanic that a bad ABS module won't affect my brake pedal because it's only function is to assist the brakes in stopping the car and without it I can still stop the car with relative ease without much leg work.

any help is appreciated.

My fiance drove for one week with the abs disconnected while we sent the module out to be repaired, no problems driving at all and no extra effort needed to stop. It is pretty easy to unhook the wiring to it, search the forum for a step by step.

There's no fuse, but like stated above there is a module you can just remove. The module is a weak point for Volvos. You can usually send it out to have it rebuilt and it is good as new!
