Default 760 ABS Fuse

According to the owners manual, my 1990 760 has a single fuse the protects
the ABS system. This fuse is supposed to be located under the instrument panel, to the left of the steering wheel.

Has anyone ever located this fuse, and if so where exactly is it ??

Thanks

Ken

Yes, there is such a fuse, it's not a legend! And it should be checked before any other deeper inquiries into a dodgy ABS. It is where it says, under the instrument panel, well hidden... You have to go from underneath, remove the knee bolster, and really get up in there to locate it. It is plugged into what looks like a relay which itself is clipped onto I believe the steering support brace. It could be a challenge finding it--use a light and it helps if you have had contortionist training...
