I have seen the thread about re-shimming the clutch on my AC Compressor adn am sure that that is the solution to my AC problems on my 2001 v70xc...

I have heard that you can remove the clutch without removing the compressor thus saving me the evacuation and recharging of the AC.

Any instructions or recomendation on how to remove the clutch without removing the compressor would be appreciated.

You can unscrew the compressor from the motor and move it slightly to get to the clutch easier. I would reccomend removing the cooling fan to make it alot easier.
