Air conditioning stopped working in 2004 v70 2.5t after reconnecting battery.
First of all i have a 2004 v70 2.5t Volvo. Now i was gonna take my aftermarket radio out to put RCA cables for a subwoofer so naturally i would disconnect the battery to work on it safely. So i disconnected the negative terminal, then i put the wires in the radio and wired everything. After that i reconnected the battery and everything seemed to work apart from the air conditioning. The fans work but it doesn't seem to have temperature control and i also cant control where the air goes, i also have the automatic version of the air conditioning.
Now what i have tried and that hasn't worked:
1: Reconnect the battery with the ignition in POS 2
2: Lock and unlock it several times with the remote and key since i read some posts about that helping.
Tomorrow im gonna try and reset the system which works i think by connecting the terminals without the battery together, anyway im gonna search more on that tomorrow.
If anybody has any idea what could help please tell me, i would like to have the AC work since i live in a fairly warm country and its only getting warmer.
also im new on this website/forum so please don't hate me if i did something wrong
