I recently purchased a nice 1998 v70 glt with one-owner and 82,000 miles. I love the car, but there are a couple of small things that need attention.

No air is coming out of the driver's-side vent, located nearest the driver's door. The rest of the vents are working flawlessly. Does anyone have any ideas about this issue. I'm not secure enough to begin digging behind the dash at this stage of ownership.

 

Maybe the rod popped off the vent from the roller ****.
