Hi,

I am trying to find where part number 9496390 is located on my 98 V70R. It's called the alarm module and apparently it needs to be replaced before my remotes can be programmed. The alarm light in the car always flashes (slow flash) and my indy traced it to this part. I kind of want to see the part and understand how it works before replacing it. I've heard it's a big bucks item.

It should be a relay located under the dash. It attaches like under the fuse box under the hood.
It goes through the firewall into the car. It should say lock and alarm on it.
