All dash warning lights non start
Hello, I have just purchased a 2013 Volvo v70 1.6 diesel Drive automatic model.
the other day while after driving the ABS and traction light came on. So I turned it off and started back up and the lights disappeared. I parked the car up for few days and today went to start the car it started up but the gear was stuck in P and I could not take gear lever out of P and I got a message on the dash that says gear SELECTOR not in P.
so I turned the car off and tried restarting
but this time every warning light came up on the dash, the key wont lock in the ignition slot, the ignition light comes on but car wont start as it says immobiliser fault, and key not in ignition and all other warning lights are on. Even the head lights are on. I took battery lead off for few days and tried starting again but still same issue. I got the local mechanic to put his diagnostic machine on but he said it's not connecting to give any information he cant connect for readings. Iv now been waiting a month for another mechanic to come out but he is too busy. I found a local volvo specialist in Hitchin but he never answers his phone or returns calls.
I'm absolutely sick and tired of this car as no mechanic wants to look at it.
iv not even done 50 miles and this junk heap has now broke down.
Any ideas any one?
