Default b4 servo cover on 2004?

Hi there, this is my first post on this forum, i was posting in the xc70 forum, until i found this one!

I just purchased a used 2004 2.4 NA front wheel drive v70 w/63k miles. I have read all sorts of information everywhere about hard 2-3 upshifts and flares etc. I do not have any flares, but I do feel that the 2-3 upshifts are a little harder than the others (even then, the shifts are pretty solid, just rougher than the others).

My question is, Does this b4 servo update cover my model year transmission? Ive seached and found a bulletin that only specifies 2001 and some 2002 models. Ive read the label on my transmission and it says its a 55-51SN model, not the 55-50SN.

Ive also flushed my transmission, and had the ecm, tcm, and cem software upgrades.

If the b4 cover update is not for my vehicle, is this behavior normal for these transmissions?

Because these cars adjust to peoples driving habits.
