Default Boost gage mount location suggestions

I'm adding a boost gauge to my V70R. Where is a good place to mount one?

I mounted mine in the vent above the headlight switch. I don't recommend that location. At night, all I see in the side mirror is the reflection of my gauge. I pulled the illumination wire for it for now. If you don't need it lighted at night, it's a great place to have it. Otherwise, IPD sells a sweet pod for them: http://www.ipdusa.com/version.asp?st...D=0&V_ID=13945

This is the pod with the matching R gauge.

IPD is overpriced for gauge pods. LOTEK (Gaugepods.com) they sell a single just like IPD's. For the A-pillar that is.

Try $15 for a single pod for the A-pillar and IPD wants $38 for theirs. RIP OFF.

- This is my triple gauge A-pillar pod from Gaugepods.com (LOTEK).

Now if you don't need a triple, they sell a single for $15 like I said above.

Looks nice S70driver. I like the setup and checked out LOTEK.

How long does it take to get used to the gauges poking toward your face?

Didn't realize it was a P1 V70...

They don't make pillar pods for the P2's that I've seen.
