Default Braking Issue?

Hello there, I am new to this forum although not absolutely new to the brand, I had an 850R for a number of years and have recently bought a 1 owner with 23 Volvo main dealer service history V70 SE 2.3 with 110k But..there is always a but isnt there? The brakes work beautifully and stop in a perfectly straight line, I could detect a little sponginess, so I broke out the Gunsun self Bleeder and did the left front..beautiful..but the Right front no fluid...hmmm..I removed the caliper and replaced it with one I had in what passes for my garage...still nothing, I removed the Flexi pipe NO..no fluid, I dont seem to have fluid coming through the system to the drivers front...Mind you the brakes do seem to work well..and it has a brand new MOT..ahem...I placed the finger on the disc after a drive and yes its stone cold.
So why does it stop well and in a perfect straight line and secondly how can I get fluid to flow through it.
