All-
I am getting a buzzing sound from the engine area (seems from the car's left side) when I turn the key to "on" and the buzzing is still present after I start the car. The buzzing goes away when the car/key is off.

So far:
-I have no "codes".
-I suspected the fuel relay was stuck but I pulled each relay from the fuse area, one at a time, and the buzzing did not go away (I pulled the relays with the key on but engine not running).
-Car starts/runs fine but for the buzzing on top of the regular engine noise.

Any suggestions for additional trouble shoot would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't have a problem don't worry about it. The icv buzzes. Probably normal.

I guess the idle control valve will buzz with just the key on but the engine not running as it is electronic?
I have had the car since new in 2006 and this buzzing just started and it is really prevalent even with the engine running.

 

OK, unless the part breaks you really don't know if it's a real problem. I guess you can replace it because it's noisy, some people do go that route.
