Annoying buzzing/whining/groaning sound
From my front end... this annoying (now loud) whining/groaning sound... Mostly happens with a cold start... but can come randomly. Its been getting louder and can go from a slight buzzing to a LOUD whine/grind. It will increase and decrease (in volume) with vehicle speed. This video was taken at a decently loud moment, lol. What IS it though???

It is hard for me tell from the audio But the groaning sound is very similar to the noise that has just started coming from the right front of my 99 S70( 148K miles), I heard a couple of thumps when first moving the car a couple of weeks ago and now I have this groaning/moaning noise above 40mph, I'm betting it is the CV joint has worn out. I'm going to wait a few weeks until warmer weather before I work on it.
Sounds like the wheel bearing to me espically at 45MPH then it when some are at their worse.

I forget exactly which year yours is I looked it up for a 1991 2.4 turbo AWD.
You might have to change something for the year or engine.
You could replace both sides if you wanted to or sway from side to side driving and see if one way stops the noise if turning right stops it the left one is bad ETC.
