I have a 1999 V70 station wagon that the air runs great until I slow the vehicle down or come to a stop. It then turns warm so I shut it off wait 10 minutes then can start all over again. It doesnt have a leak and the refrigerant is full. Any ideas??? It is so frustrating. Thanks

try to check the fan relay. see if works on both speed! i changed mine and now blows cold all the time.

 

Is that the relay that is normally connected to the fan scrod?

 

is in top of the radiator on the left. mine's worked just on one speed and thats why couldnt cool so good the refrigerant. the new one i installed works both speed and my a/c is blowing cold than ever. worth to give a try.

 

I thought I saw a post somewhere that indicated the ECM would not allow the compressor to run if it sensed that it could not turn on the fan (via the fan relay). Just a thought.
