My 2007 V70's cargo cover came apart, and it was easy to put back together once the parts were aligned. However, like any roll blind, I need to reload the spring tension to draw the cover back around the rod.

Can anyone explain how to wind the spring? I have no problem taking it apart again; I've done so several times now trying to figure this out!

P.S. Supplemental info: Both my independent Volvo mechanic and my Volvo dealer's service rep agree that it's a throwaway item once tension is gone. It cannot be repaired.
