Default Cargo Space

Hi guys,

Im a windsurfer and want to sell my van and buy a big car instead... Cant stand driving my VW T4 barge any longer. Top of my list is a V70 2.5 DTi.

Could anyone tell me the length of the boot with the back seats down (from the back of the front seat to the rear loading door)? I need to know if my largest sail and boom will fit and cant find this data on the web!

Many thanks
Chris

If no one else replies, I can get you measurements by this evening (though I am running a '99 and you may be looking for an '01 and later). One great feature of these cars is that the front passenger seat can lay completely flat, which would give you additional space for your item. So really you could take advantage of two measurements: one to the backs of the front seats and one to the glovebox. You could still take one passenger even with the front seat folded, by taking advantage of the split folding rear seat.

Inside the liftgate to the back of the front seats at midpoint of the seat travel is 72" ( 185cm) with front passenger seat back forward you can get about 7' (214cm).
