Default Trying to get more cargo space, any ideas on what I can do?

So as always, i never have enough cargo space.

Im thinking of setting up some kind of net or shelf on the ceiling of the rear end of the car.
The only thing ill put up there is 2 towels and nothing else (other spots already used).

Any ideas on what I can use?
I was thinking of something elastic to keep it tight to the roof as possible but not weak enough that it will drag down over time because than I wont be able to see out of my rear.
Other than that I dont have any other ideas and I would like to install something that will not cause holes or permanent damage to the car.

your better off, trying to run mesh from carpet to ceiling parallel with the length of the car. you could pack stuff in up to the ceiling and just block the back side windows, not your view. Wagon i assume

If that doesn't work, get a trailer. LOL

I could see the cargo net on the ceiling working for you. Give it a try and take a lot of pictures because I would like to see the outcome.

Is this a wagon or sedan?

If its a wagon....and you still need space even though the seats fold down and you can sleep two comfortably back there...you can use the cargo net brackets (as fcpgroton mentioned) for half of the mount, the other half your going to need to become crafty. Possibly taking the rear speaker covers off and mounting some sort of bracketry back there. Its feasible.
