Default Control Arm Bushing Replacement 2002 V70

I was reading through the manual for replacing the bushings and it says that you should replace the control arm bolts. Are they torque to yield bolts? If not, is it really necessary to replace them? I know in my previous cars I never replaced control arm bolts when replacing bushings. TIA

maybe they say to replace them because they might be getting thin due to rust?? you may find suitable replacements at a good hardware store. My local store has a good selection of metric bolts....if it was me i'd probably blast and paint the original ones if they aren't rusty...
