Hello, can anyone explain each of the parts of the VIN?

for example YV1LW65F2Y2****** From what i know so far, we have:
1. country of origin (Y= Belgium? Sweden?)
2. the maker (V= volvo)
3. vehicle type? (1=?)
4. to 8. identifies vehicle atributes(LW65=?)
4. N or L= 2.3 engine type B5234T3 and 2.4ltr engine type B5244T (both eng man sys Bosch ME7)

8.
9. check digit? 10. year of manufacture (Y=2000) (W=1998) (X=1999)
11. The factory Number (2= where?)
12. to 17. serial number off the production line.

I have bought a european spec left hand drive car from the UK and need to correctly identify the details for getting the car regstered in France.

Any progress on this?
Specifically looking for thr part of the vin that signifies third row seats or not and what size engine, turbo or non turbo.
sure would help our search for the right 850 wagon or v70.
