Ok, I'm making slow progress. Now I'm confused by something else. (what a surprise). The tensioner I removed from the car is different from the one a bought. Did I buy the wrong thing from FCP Groton? Here's a picture of both.

You have the mechanical tensioner that one is for a hydrolic setup.
