My seat belt is fully streched and it stays out like that, its totaly useless. Has anyone had this issue before? I was wondering if its just a spring that goes bad or a whole mechanism? Also, do i have to worry about side airbags when working in this area?

Almost a full year and no response to this post! This forum needs a section dedicated to seat belt problems! I am searching for answers to mine and find it frustrating. It is so dumb that they can't make a dependable seat belt without making them so complicated.
