Question Dropping rear seats, seat belt locks in position.

Hi.
I have a 2005 (55) V70 which is suffering a recurrence of a fault originally fixed under warranty. The dealer are now refusing to rectify as the car is out of warranty.

I have dropped the rear seat, upon trying to pull it back up into position the seat belt has locked / tensioned (as it would in a sudden breaking situation). Consequently it has locked, has no 'give' in it, and therefore is preventing me from lifting the seat back up.

Any ideas?
1) Frequent / known problem.
2) Quick 'DIY' fix

Thanks.

Paul.

Default Fixed!

DIY fix, removed bolt that holds bottom of seat belt to floor, which released the tension. Sorted. 10 minute job.
