Hi we have a 2000 Volvo V70 s/wagon. We have noticed a dull rattle coming from the left rear. Have had a mechanic check it out on the hoist - nothing apparent. The noise appears to vibrate up through the car with acceleration - so from 0 to 60 its a rattly knocking noise - then from 60k's to 100k's its a deep vibration (quite scary). The vehicle is now booked into our local volvo dealership & they are going to dismantle the suspension as a process of elimination. It would be so good to go in there with the exact knowledge of what it is. I note from previous postings that this is common with this vehicle. Any information would be gratefully accepted. Thanks.
