Default Eletrical Problem

[align=left] I tried searching the forums but did not see the exact problem I am having with my 2002 V70. I have gone into the garage and found the headlights on, on two separate occasions and the blower motor running full speed on two other occasions (all separate incidents). When I opened the car the blower **** was already turned down to the off position. The only way to disengage the lights and the blower motor was to insert the key and turn it to the first position (and back off for the lights). This has resulted in a dead battery on one occasion. I don’t think it is a short, if it was, inserting the key shouldn’t have ended the short (or an intermittent connection). Has anyone seen or heard of this problem before? TIA

The problem with the headlights is your main problem.

The blower motor is normal function after the A/C is on. It comes on I believe 20-30 minutes after you shut the car off to dry the evaperator.

The headlights not sure on.
