Hey, I'm Robert. I have a 2000 v70 that needs an engine replacement. I found an s70 engine at a local pick-a-part and was wondering if i could put it into my v70. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello, Look at this short thread. https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-v70-13/would-2001-v70-auto-transmission-work-2001-c70-48123/ I believe you're in a similar boat as auto325. I've read that the ETM, at least, has to be married to the car's ECM. I suggest you ask at a dealer. Tell them your situation and see what they say. In your situation could you swap just the "hard iron" parts. By that I mean utilizing the fuel and spark delivery system of the old car's engine? Kira
