Does anyone happen to know if there is ETS issues on the newer v70s? Model year 2005+

Getting sick of all the issues arising with my 1999 Base model. Looking into getting a newer one.

 

If you mean the ETM. That was specific to certain model years and the particular brand of ETM. Newer models shouldn't have any problems.

 

There is an "extended warranty" of 10 years, 200K miles on most 1998-2000 ETM's . The problem was specific to the Magneti Morelli units ( They are the Italian version of Lucas Electronics and just as unreliable) supposedly not a problem on later models.

 

Actually the warranty goes all the way to the 2002 model year for the NA engines.
