My ETS light came on a few months ago. Took to dealer, they said that the code read that throttle body needed cleaning. They cleaned and cleared the code, I drove off lot...next day code came back on intermitently. Been on/off ever since. Once it went off after I filled up with full tank of gas (use 91-92 octane). I try not to get below 1/4 tank but did that day. Otherwise don't see correlation with light:car performance. Car is old, 2000, 130K miles, but still runs pretty well. Suggestions? No check engine light, and I did replace mass air flow sensor earlier this year. I will need to replace the battery next year, so maybe that would help? Open to other suggestions, but I don't have deep pockets ($) and am only sort of handy.

I was wondering how things have turned out for you... I have a 99 v70 XC, and am having terrible time with the ets... I even have the yellow sticker but light is still off/on!
