Help Solve Mystery Car?
Right, so I just bought my uncle's Volvo off of him. I believe it's a 1999 Volvo V70 R (it was made 02/99). The head was warped, so I'm looking for a new one. I entered the VIN code in a couple of decoders and didn't find anything. The sixth and seventh digits didn't turn up in many of the decoders. I did find it in one decoder, and the digits corresponded with the B5234T9 engine.
I haven't been able to find anything on this engine, other than it seems to be used in a lot of cars from 2003 on. My BIG question is whether or not the head from another engine (such as the B5234T3 or T5) can be put on the T9 engine. This would make finding a head a LOT easier.
