My 98 V70 R died this afternoon. Car ran normally for several miles, then lost power and stalled. It will re-start, but then dies immediately. Car has 120 k on it and is in good condition and well maintained. My initial thoughts are fuel related?? Any suggestions on common problem areas or where to start? Many thanks.

 

First start by pulling the codes.

You have to check for fuel,spark and injector pulse.
That is the first place to start.

 

A trouble code will save you time and get you right to the source of the problem.
