I Impressed the Lady
Well as you regulars know my 4th Grandchild was born a little over two ago and all is well. But my daughter wanted a Rocker/Recliner to rock Ethan. She came over to our house and we have two La Z Boys and she said that was the most comfortable she has been since the baby was born. Well I found a rocker/recliner on Craigslist, but it was not a La Z Boy. It was only 10 mintutes from where I work so I went to look at it. It was nice and comfortable so I bought it. I was driving the V70 that day and knew I could get a La Z Boy in because the back just slips off so it's in two pieces. Well I could not figure out how to take the back off of this one. It was in this garage and the Lady selling it was there with another lady and three or four young children.
I put the chair in the reclining position and asked the lady to help me carry it to the car. She looked at me with kind of a strange look, so I asked if she was able to help carry it and she said she didn't have a problem carrying it. What she didn't say was that I think she thought I was crazy thinking this big chair was going in that car. I folded the back seat flat and we tried to put it in, but it hit the back of the front seats. I went over and folded up the passenger side of the back seat, flipped the passenger front seat forward, and folded the back seat back down. It slid right in and I closed the back door.
She just kept looking and said "I have to admit I am impressed". I simply said "It's a Volvo".

Thats a great story....
I have a similar one, my father is up from Melbourne with his girlfriend ( why he has a girlfriend at 70 i will never know), with five in my family and my two guests we make seven people, yesterday when we were ready to leave, my fathers girlfriend was waiting outside for us to get ready to leave the house, she assumed we needed two cars and was waiting by the Jeep assuming my father and herself were travelling in the Jeep, when we all came out i asked here to jump in the Volvo, she replied we all don't fit, at this time she had walked over to the rear hatch area where i was lifting the two rear seats....her reply was i didn't know your car did that..i think i replied something similar to Jimkw like "it's a Volvo".
We all travelled in comfort with seven people in the V70, just as responsive as if i were alone driving..."love that car"
