Default Immediate stalling

Nearly every time i start my car it stalls immediately. When I restart it it starts fine but there is a "ABS service required" message while it is turning over and dissapears as soon as it starts. If i rev it the first time i can stop it from stalling. Doesn't really bother me that much but i'm leaving my car with a friend while i am overseas next month and i'd rather it was fixed before then.

Update....

Whenever i start the car hot it will stall the first time and then start fine after that. When its cold the revs drop but then i think the choke kicks in and stops it stalling. I have discovered tho that if i turn the ignition to ON for a few seconds before i start it then it will start fine.

It has been doing this for a while and with no other issues and no codes. (i have issues and error messages now but i will save those for another forum).

Any ideas?

Sounds like for some reason you are loosing fuel pressure.

Why would turning it to ON for a second help? Is there maybe a delay from the fuel pump? Could fuel be draining back away from my motor more than it should when i turn it off?

That is what is sounds like is happening. The fuel drain off.
Turning the key on for a second repressurizes the system.

Depends on what is wrong. It could be many things. Do you smell gas in the rear right side of the car?

It is possible it is the fule pressure regulator, injector,or check valve in the fuel pump.
It would have to be traced down.
