Exclamation Mayday bcs/ tcv

1998 v70 t5. Upon inspection, only one hose coming from TCV/ BCS seems to be connected. There "top hose" is running into the intake snorkel, after the MAF, but the other two are either split or mis-routed on their way to the turbo.

When I've worked on this car before, upon reconnection of the battery, there is major hesitation and engine vibration until the ECM learns the curves.

Simply, can someone tell me which hoses go where using terms like "side," "top" etc?
My major problem is the hoses on this very early build are different than the vaccuum diagrams as far as "color coding.
One hose is striped yellow, one is regular hose with a 1/4 inch band of yellow tape, and the other, top hose, appears to be regular hose.

Please assist if you possibly can.

Many thanks- and yes, I have "searched" elsewhere and can't find a satisfactory answer.

Also, large ammounts of oil/ filth around nipple for bypass valve, which has the remnants of hose and clamp still attached. Hose danglling from direction of tcv.

Amazingly, car idled and ran silky smooth...Maybe a bit on the low power side, but car has 175k (miles) on clock. What a testament to the ECM. I'm impressed.

Looks like this was the work of the last shop car was serviced at (not my car) when the cam position sensor was replaced. Looks like the tech just had his way with the myriad of brittle lines in that area...

One final consideration, IS THERE A REDUCER/ CONNECTOR between the TCV hose and the bypass valve?

As you may be able to tell, I'm in a bit of a frenzy.

OK, found markings red/ blue markings on top and bottom ports. "Side" port, nearest electrical connector is actually connected to the wastegate. Markings are RED on top, BLUE on bottom/ rear...So, red to compressor, blue to wastegate, unmarked hose to fresh air inlet tube...
Apparently the bypass valve hose was dangling too, (amazing)but the source seems to come from under the intake.

I think I just answered my own question while keeping a real time diary wating for responses. What say you?

Ended up splicing the compressor hose with a 3/16 I'd hose connector. Car started with no issues but seems more responsive.
Anyone have any luck with silicone hoses?
Terrible working in the intake area with all the brittle hose and only one old time work light...
