Mysterious Coolant Leak 2001 V70 93k I have developed a coolant leak, which I can’t trace and the occurrence is random. No correlation between drive time and leak. Actually seems to leak more on shorter trips. There will be no leak for 2-3 days and then the overflow reservoir will be drained on the next trip. The hoses are tight. At times there is a small puddle on the ground under the driver’s side front headlight. 2-3 ounces. Temperature gauge is constant. No sounds of a pressurized leak. Repair shop says time for a $750 replacement, but because of location they really can’t get a good look. I suspect they will not investigate, and just replace. Suggestions???/ Many Thanks,

 

I would say bad radiator.
Check really good around the radiator for weapage.
