Navigation?
i have a 2001 V70 T5 that came with navigation and i found the cd back in the cd changer.
this is 2009 and the navigation is a bit outdated and i was wondering since i've seen same hardware on newer Volvos but im wondering if the software is just updated and where could i get those cd's.
i would love updated graphics and updated roads and im sure someone has them, so would they work on my Volvo and how could i make that happen?

Have you tried calling a dealership and asking them? I mean I know no one likes to talk to the dealership and go to the dealership and pay the dealership but it's always the most viable answer to solve a question when it involves new car software...
If you don't like that idea try calling VCNA (Volvo Cars of North America). See what they say.

One of the big factors of decision when getting factory nav was the difficulty of updating. It was why I went after market with a Garmin. I've only updated once since I've had this for 5 years and to tell the truth I didn't notice much difference in the area I drive.
I would think the dealer has a newer DVD but google aftermarket who knows what you can find????
