Got me a piece of Volvo last April. I've been lovin it ever since. No more jap cars for me!!

I do have some questions. My car: 2002 V70 T5

Got a sweet deal on it, clean car, great performance plus booster seats for the kiddies.

However, I noticed that mine doesn't have the headlamp wipers others have. Just about every V70 I've seen has the headlamp wipers. Is this odd? Or is it possible to have a V70 T5 without the headlamp wipers?

Also If I want to add the headlamp wipers, how much is involved and how much?

 

First yes it is possible to not have them.

Most cars are prewired for them. You would have to buy the wipermotors,Black trim on the bumper,
Both are pretty Expensive. Im not sure if they are just plug and play.

 

My V70 has those wipers, but the owners manual only tells how to replace them. How are they controlled and when do they run?

 

They only work with the windshield washers.

 

Yeah they only work when the windsheild washer are sparyed, then they spray fluid on the lamps and move.
