Default no boost at high RPM and oil in the air intake??

I just replaced the TCV and the hoses for it from IPD. When I went around to drive after following the instructions, I noticed that my turbo doesn't seem to have much power when it hits high RPM (4-5.6 x1000). Does anyone have an explanation for this? The 3 hoses I changer are in fact tight, so that shouldn't be the problem

Also, I noticed that when I took off the air intake hose that comes off of the air filter housing and goes into the engine, the end that's towards the engine has a little bit of oil inside the tube. Does anyone know what that means or where it's coming from? It's black and seems to me like it's engine oil, but what's engine oil doing in the air intake hose?

The vent system might be clogged.
Also do you have a boost guage on the car?
If not I suggest getting one so see exactly what is going on.
