No fuel filter in 2004 NA V70?

Default No fuel filter in 2004 NA V70?
I called the volvo dealer to order parts and they told me this car does not have a replaceable fuel filter element. That it had a permanent filter in the fuel tank that does not need to be changed. Since when?

Default That's right...no fuel filter.
Okay...so I am replying to my own message. I was not aware that volvos came with steel or plastic fuel tanks. The steel fuel tank volvo's do not have an external fuel filter. Only the one in the tank with the pump.

That is correct the metal tanks to not have an external filter.
