From a 2001 v70
I was test driving one and 3 times when i shut down the engine theres a weird noise coming from under the hood.

Sounds like "tick,tick,tick" or buzzing sound or sound of somone getting shocked. Trying to remmeber it as the vehicle is not in my possession.

Then it goes away within 1 to 2 minutes.

Dealer said its normal and of course hes not lying to get a sale

does this occur with anyone

 

Maybe it is the ETM shutting down.
