O2 Sensor recommendations?

Default O2 Sensor recommendations?

Car is a '99 V70 5 speed non-turbo

I have tried replacing the front O2 sensor with a universal from Autozone, and I am positive that I wired it correctly. However, it is still causing an error code, and my diagnostic scanner cannot get any reading from it. Thus, I have decided to get one with an OE connector. My connectors are the square, not rectangular time. The bad sensor is #1 (upstream)

Does anyone have a recommendation for the cheapest non-universal oxygen sensor that has worked in a '99-00? I am reluctant to spend the $260 quoted by the Volvo dealer.

I have replaced all 4 sensors on each of my BMWs for a total of about $300 per car (which originally stickered for 2x-3x the price of my V70). Surely I don't have to pay nearly that much for just 1 sensor on a Volvo. I am open to any recommendations.

02 sensors for Volvo's from Volvo are very exspensive.

Even from FCP Groton they are exspensive.

I paid $204 for the Volvo annoited rear O2 sensor on my 99s70 and swapped it out myself in 15 mins . I paid $ 215 for the Toyota 02 sensor on my recently departed Sienna mini-van. and had to pay the dealer an additional 2 hours labor because the 02 sensor is behind the steering rack and inaccessable to the mortal man

It seems that everytime I have tried to go cheap on parts for my Volvos I always ended up doing the job twice and paying double. I gave up on most aftermarket parts for Volvos years ago

Buy a bosch replacement sensor not a universal one.

If you still looking, maybe get a used on from a wrecking yard, or a new one on Ebay.
