Im getting this strange moan every once in a while from my drivers side wheel well... gets a little higher pitched as the car goes faster... eventually (at about 50mph) it goes away but then comes back later. Ny ideas?

 

Maybe tires or front wheel bearing.

 

Maybe you have a pedestrian stuck up in there.

"but then comes back later"...........after they regain conciousness.

Shock has set in, I think with a little coaching, they will come out.

 

I just replaced the tires thinking it was them too.
...and I checked for pedestrians, lol. None today.

 

It's the wheel hub assembly. I'm sure of it. I just had this issue and it tuned out be just that.

no more humming, binding, grinding or whining.
