Hi, am looking for guidance: the mirror is loose inside the mount and moves when you drive. It also shudders or stutters when you adjust it remotely. It is one of those electric mirrors that also folds electrically.

The whole unit costs a ton..like $350.. as near as I can tell online. Am sure there is a gear head or something that is hosed up.

Am guessing you can pop the triangular trim cover inside the door to get at the mounting hardware.

Does anyone have any experience/photos?

Also, as a newbie, I would appreciate pointers as to best source(s) for parts.
