Default losing fluids in... rear view mirror? WTF!

This is not a joke. It appears the auto-dim rear view mirror in my s60 contains a thin layer of fluid between the glass and the mirror (I guess to resist fogging). Within a few hours, an air bubble developed right in the center of it and expanded until the top half of the mirror was dry. Does anyone know anything about this? Preferably with how to fix it?

Thanks,
Blase

You will have to have it replaced. But you can't do it your self because it is also a control module for the keyless entry system.
The dealer will have to install it and then program it.
