hey all, on my V70 the switch unit on the drivers side blew up(not literly(sp)). but here is my problem my g/f who was in the passenger seat had put her window down bofore i tried to my window down and bofore the smoke came out of the driver side switch. so my question to you all is.. is there any way of putting up the window with out the switch unit?? i just want it up for exra safty so it doesnty get stolen e.t.c. i am trying to get a switch unit as we speek but the it has been raining a lot.

please help

You can pull the door panel and jump the motor with 12v and put it up.
