I don't know too much about cars, I went to vin decoder and still don't understand.

I need to know what kind of volvo I'm buying from a friend that doesn't know either. All I know is that it's a 98 croos country wagon, but my question is: Is it turbo or not?

Google shows a 1998 V70XC for sale with 2.4L turbo:

Also check ebay for 1998s - they list 12 right now!!! All the XCs are:

"five-cylinder 2.4 liter turbocharged".

I assume the XC had oneengine option, justlike the current XCs

Your VIN number shows that the vehicle is fitted with the B5254T engine. It is the turbo.
